PU Thick Film Coat 5240 – highly chemical resistant –

Fast-drying, thick-layer 2-component PU topcoat with excellent property profile and increased protection against acids, alkalis and solvents; mainly for spray application in industrial applications. Extremely weatherproof and resistant to mechanical action in the course of normal stress. Resistant to a variety of mineral and synthetic oils, as well as diluted acids, alkalis and various solvents. (It is essential that you refer to us about the certified oil types and chemicals; if need be, create test surfaces.)

Designated use
As a labor-saving thick-film coating mainly on iron, steel and cast iron with increased quality requirements on the coating structure and its resistance, especially against oils, greases and various chemicals. Due to the fast drying and thus possible short cycle times, excellently suited for industrial series coating.
